Programs are available for both the catalyst spec U.S. motors, and the Euro/ROW spec cars. All programming for US version cars by default is for 91 or higher octane fuel. If programming for 93 octane fuel is preferred, please note your octane preferences. For Euro/ROW spec cars, default chip programming is for 95 RON octane fuel. If programming for 98 RON fuel is preferred, please note your octane preference.
The following dyno runs are from a pristine low mile '94 964 RS America on a Dynojet 248x. Engine is completely stock with the exception of a Fabspeed Sport Cat, a Fabspeed Maxflo Exhaust, a modified cut open airbox cover, and the 964 performance chip. Baseline dyno with 91 octane California pump gas, this car produces 237 hp at the rear wheels with the stock chip (blue curves). With our retuned performance chip, the car now dynos 251 hp at the rear wheels (red curves). Calculating for a 15% transmission loss, this engine produces 296 HP at the crank, a 17 hp improvement at the engine, along with a substantial 8-17 ft-lb torque increase through the rpm range.
